Description
New & sealed copy of Duke Pearson's The Phantom (featuring Bobby Hutcherson). This is a fairly early part of Blue Note's excellent Tone Poet reissue series, released by Blue Note in 2020. No signs of this being repressed yet.
Visually inspected, I grade this as mint. Perforations on the factory seal are intact, no scuffs on the hype sticker, edges, corners and spine are all pristine.
It comes in a single, high quality (Stoughton made?) tip-on sleeve, with a single-sided printed insert included. Personally, I prefer these single sleeves to the bulky gatefolds on most Tone Poet albums; closer to the original look and saves precious shelf space.
Photos are of the actual item itself. This comes from my personal collection; I ordered two copies by mistake!
I package vinyl in (re-used) heavy cardboard LP cartons. If it's a used record, I'll ship the vinyl outside of its sleeve both slotted into a free poly protective sleeve (to avoid the risk of seam splits developing in transit). New and sealed records are shipped as is (unless the buyer asks me to break the seal and take the vinyl out of the sleeve).
