Description
This is the rare deep-groove original pressing of Duke Ellington’s 11/17/48 (Side 1) and Stan Kenton’s 10/14/51 (Side 2) on Cornell Rhythm Club EK 3187/3188. The flat rim red vinyl playing surface is in beautiful condition, but there is an audible hairline on Side 1 that extends from the end of Track 2 into Track 3. No art cover, as issued. The Cornell Rhythm Club was co-founded by Marshall Stearns. Its recordings were available only to club members. Personnel include Johnny Hodges and Harry Carney (Side 1), Art Pepper, and Bob Cooper (Side 2). WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
