Dr Z - Three Parts To My Soul
1971 UK original LP on swirl label. Catalogue number 6360048. Matrix numbers: side one 1Y//1 112 side two 2Y//1 112 With swirl inner sleeve. Perhaps the rarest of all the Vertigo Swirl LPs.
RECORD CONDITION: GOOD+, There are a number of visible scratches on both sides of the record which generate a few loud clicks of short duration - just a few revolutions of the record. (See Audio Grading below). Both labels are clean without any stains or writing.
SLEEVE CONDITION: GOOD+, This record has an elaborate sleeve with two front flaps which when opened, reveal an inner front cover. There is wear to the edges and corners of the sleeve but no splits, tears or writing. The front face of the cover is showing only light creasing and the previously described corner and edge wear. Within, the inner front cover shows some wear in the bottom right-hand corner and slight rippling on the right-hand edge. The rear face of the sleeve shows some wear on both top corners and the top edge. The sleeve is otherwise intact retaining much of it's original colour and fabulous artwork.
AUDIO GRADING: I play grade records fully using a high quality moving coil cartridge. There are a few visible scratches to both sides of this LP which although audible are in the most part heard as light background clicks accompanied by occasional pops and crackles. Side one, track two has an audible click which although not loud can be heard during the quieter passages of the track. I noted louder clicks on side two, tracks one and three, both of which are of a short duration - just a few revolutions of the record. Despite the above faults this LP played well with no mistracking, no noticeable distortion and still remained enjoyable to listen to. I would add that although not in top condition this LP is far from being a mere collection filler and merits consideration from those collectors who may not wish to pay four figure amounts of money that excellent and mint copies of this rarity generally sell for.

PACKING: All records are cleaned on a professional quality record cleaning machine and placed into a new poly-lined inner sleeve. The original inner will be included. Record covers are put into a pvc outer sleeve and the record removed from the cover to prevent seam splits. The record will be posted in a new cruciform record box with additional stiffeners.
