Near mint vinyl on this extremely rare 1970 UK original Vertigo swirl label, fold open gatefold cover LP from Dr Strangely Strange “Heavy Petting” (Vertigo 6360 009).
The tracklist is: Ballad Of The Wasps/Summer Breeze/Kilmanoyadd Stomp/I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes/Sign On My Mind/Gave My Love An Apple/Jove Was At Home/When Adam Delved/Ashling/Mary Malone Of Moscow/Goodnight My Friends.
The glossy LP looks and plays near mint with just some very light occasional surface noise. There is one very tiny factory defect that is lightly audible for 3 revolutions. Included is the original swirl inner sleeve. The gatefold die-cut cover has no splits and shows very little wear with clear graphics and liner notes. There is a sizeable tear on the right side fold-out portion (see picture) which is the only negative in this entire package. It could be repaired but I felt bidders should be aware of it and let the winner determine how best to repair it.
