ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!PERPLEXING SONGCRAFT!!!AN INSPIRATION TO MANY SUBSEQUENT TOPACTS!!!
!!!!A VERY HARD FIND!!! A few hundred (rumoured to be around 400) were ever pressed of this fantastic prog/psych album. Their obtuse Celtic songgcraft was never going to sell in their millions, but this was still very under appreciated at the time and went totally under the radar. Such a shame as they had some wildly imaginary songs and a great sense of humour.
These days impossible to still find. Any copies that do surface are quickly included in major prog/psych collections across the world. This is a very SCARCE album!! In all my years this is only the third time I have come across this PROGMONSTER of which only 400 are rumoured to be about. Rare ... anyone?? The other two I had were English pressings. This, a German pressing is actually even harder to find than the English one!!
Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks or crackle, this is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl. A credit to these original first Vertigo presses which are legendary and probably only equalled in sound quality by the first Island presses.
Vinyl: VG++!! And many sellers would say EX, but I'd rather err on the side of caution. A couple of very light hairlines but these do not sound at all. The audio is magnificent. A sensational find!!! I have played this in FULL twice over> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation. I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great prog collection. A special mention should be made of the 8:30 minutes long track "Sign On My Mind" ...... Every lover of great prog should have been able to listen to this stunner!!! Fantastic soloing by a very young Gary Moore. It was later reconfigured by Wishbone Ash and sold in their millions.
Gatefold Gimmicks Sleeve: VG+. This sleeve is very notorious for having bits and pieces missing or having come detached. I am glad to inform you that this sleeve is COMPLETE!! It has the open-up lyric flaps that can be positioned in such a way that the sleeve becomes freestanding. The front of the flaps are die-cut with little "peep" holes. These front flaps have a few creases as can be observed in the picture but essentially are complete. The bottom flaps are without any creases and in EX condition, I have not seen this before. the top opening is slightly furred with one miniscule tear of half a cm. Otherwise this laminated gimmick sleeve is in fine fettle with its rich colouring fully remaining.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!! This is a great and seriously collectable super album!! You will buy into a piece of folk/prog core history.

This will be packed in a polythene sleeve and with appropriate stiffeners on each side of the album. The vinyl will be separate from the sleeve. It will then be packed in a sturdy custom made sleeve.
