Description - This is a copy of the extremely rare 1st pressing. The sleeve is in good condition. All parts of the fold-out are in place. Lets get the defects out of the way first before getting on to all the great bits. On the main body of the sleeve there is very little edge wear on the bottom and some edge wear down the sides, no ring wear and no vinyl cuts. It has a little storage wear. There are no other marks, tears or writing. All parts of the fold-out front sections are attached. The one on the left has some tears which you can see in the photo. The fold has edge wear but no splits.The inside section is in excellent condition. On the right side the front section also has a tear and a mark which can be seen in the photo. It has the number 17 printed in small text at the top. The fold has some edge wear and a 3cm split. The inside tab is in excellent condition. The vinyl is very clean and shiny. There are no scratches or nasty surface marks. Under a strong halogen lamp I have look at both sides and used a magnifying glass. There is very little surface marking on either side. What little there is has no effect on the playback sound quality and the vinyl could be said to look on inspection as being close to mint condition. Both sides play with a lovely warm rich sound and no intrusive background noise. It was a great experince to hear this LP again. I have not played it more than twice since buying it from a 2nd hand record shop in Brighton. I do prefer this LP to the Kip Of The Serenes one. The paper centre labels are the classic swirl style. I have looked at the amount of spindle wear on each side using the halogen lamp and magnifying glass. From what I can see and count this copy looks to have been played 7 or 8 times. From the quality of the vinyl and great sound it clearly has not been excessively played. It is a first pressing as the matrix numbers 6360009 1Y and 6360009 1Y tell you.
