Description

For auction: the vinyl LP Babylon by Dr. John.

Publishing info: 1968. Atco.

Catalog number: SD33-270.

Album notes: The second album released by Dr. John (Mac Rebennack), aka The Night Tripper, is a unique combination of piano blues, voodoo incantations, and swamp jazz. Listen to it late at night with the lights down dim.

Album condition: Very Good Plus. Hardly any surface marks. No scratches. No skips.

Jacket: Very Good. Gatefold jacket has a two-inch split along one bottom edge; otherwise no splits or physical damage. Faint shadow where there once was a price sticker. Minor surface wear.

Inner sleeves: Original Atco paper sleeve with adverts for other Atco recording artists.

Seller Personal Note: The time has come to downsize my record collection. I will be listing other LPs over the next few weeks. Go ahead and browse my other listings. The records I am selling come from my personal collection. All have been played, but all have been taken good care of.

Shipping: LPs will be shipped in a heavy duty cardboard LP mailer with the LP removed from the sleeve and reinforced with extra cardboard. I am offering your choice of media mail or priority mail shipping.
