Description
Dr. Dre "2001" 2xLP Original 1999 double-vinyl. This is the EXPLICIT version (see below)
Iconic follow up the "the Chronic", with appearances by Eminem, Snoop and Nate Dogg and others. Rated "5 mics" by The Source as a true classic.
Sleeve in excellent condition (see images for what few signs of wear there are). Insert is unblemished - no creases, even. Vinyl is glossy and new-looking.
This record was bought by the seller (me) at Beat Street Records in Brooklyn in 1999.
Runout etching (side A): S-42226
This record's barcode is "069490486-1" which is the explicit version. The track listing on the back has the word "censored" over a few track titles - I guess because they didn't want to print curses on the sleeve. But the censored version of the LP has a different barcode, according to my research, which is practically the same but ends in the number 2: 069490489-2.
Lastly, this is my personal record. I bought it new and it is definitely not the "clean" version.
All of my records – this one included - have been carefully stored in poly bags and left un-played for about twenty years. I'm selling them now to pay my son's college tuition.
