Description
This rather rare record is clean and in excellent condition with no scuffs or scratches, and it has been played a few times, but has certainly never been abused.
The sleeve, likewise is in very good shape - no ringwear, just slightly dinged corners and a small bend or two - please see photos.
I am not a professional record seller or grader, but as a collector I would say EX Vinyl, VG Sleeve. The allegedly anti-static (I guess? They always seem to me to have the opposite effect) plastic inner sleeve is a bit crumpled around the corners.
As a (really infrequent) DJ I just have to cut some of my record collection (25+ years' worth) to raise some money.
This record is #68 (hand-numbered in silver on the back cover) of a limited edition of 420 copies on 220 gram audiophile vinyl in translucent blue with solid purple streaks. Direct-metal mastered. The vinyl edition was apparently released in January of 2003.

III Steps Forward, released in 2002, combines a small selection of reworked outtakes from the III sessions and a collection of newly recorded material. III Steps Forward is housed in a full color gatefold sleeve, with new artwork from the original CD release - The Cover features photos of a Buchla System 200 modular synth.
The Download project came from a series of jams performed by Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel of Skinny Puppy with various collaborators. Initially something of a "supergroup" with numerous members and guest collaborators, by the time of this release Download's line-up was mostly just Cevin Key and Phil Western. Also credited on this album are Dre Robinson and Omar Torres.

"Sticky Glandstin" and "Walking, Talking" splatter percussion, sound effects, squelches and wide-sweeping synth waves to great effect. They're great reminders that no one else sounds quite like Download. "Dakota" methodically pumps along until it unexpectedly gives way to lush ambient billows. "Resilient" and "Ratail Comb" are lesser tracks more concerned with battling beats than progressive song structures. "The Itch of Trepanning" boldly staggers a mid-tempo groove while the driving bass line of "Manmade" is laced with Download style drum 'n bass. "Nor" is the lengthiest at six minutes and most atmospheric of the bunch, the rhythm taking a back seat to thick whorls of synth pad and a distant animal howl. It's a showcase in Download's gentler side and would have fit in nicely on "III". "D.O.G." and "P.U.P." are loving tributes to Key's dearly departed cats, both tracks tamer and imbued with an appropriate sense of sadness. After some silence the brief but melodically cute hidden track "Bolantinis Pivoli" pleasantly caps the album off.
