Doug Carn Infant Eyes Black Jazz LP Sealed OG Pressing 1971
BJ/3, popular release from the iconic Black Jazz and the first appearance of label stalwart Doug Carn and his then wife Jean. A real classic in the spiritual jazz canon; Coltrane, Tyner, Wayne Shorter, Bobby Hutcherson, Horace Silver: they’re all paid tribute here often with Doug’s sensitive lyrics and Jean’s marvelous vocals.
• OG Stereo pressing with textured sleeve
• impossible to say which of 2 tan stereo pressings is within; perhaps it’s a red label quad/ stereo pressing, who knows
• back is printed in same direction as front image (like a book) rather than the more often seen upside down (playing card style)
• vinyl presumed to be in at least EX condition; no signs of warpage
• sleeve graded VG+ ; upper left corner crease, very small corner dings and wear on all four corners; shrink coming away at bottom spine side one inch; PLEASE SEE PICS, ZOOM IN, & contact me for more pics if needed
