Description

Used 1958 Dorothy Ashby: Hip Harp w/ Frank Wess Prestige 7140 LP Mono RVG I cleaned this with a Record Doctor and listened all the way through.         Visually, there are fine scratches and scuffs. Not For Sale" stamped on the label.  When listening, there is a cueing scratch on Side A/ Track 2. It pops a few revolutions and then a skip at the end of the scratch. It sounds like it skips one groove ahead and then the pops stop. There is moderate surface noise and random crackles on Side A.        Side B has light surface noise and fewer random crackles. Much better than Side A. If it weren't for the scratch/skip on Side A, this would be a Strong VG+ to EX.       I have to downgrade it to VG to VG+      The jacket has a 2" split at the center top seam but, the the spine and bottom seam are very good. "Not for Sale" Stamped on the back. I grade it at VG+. Shipped USPS Media Mail in a proper cardboard LP box.
