CONDITION

DISC: This US 1st press MONO LP is visually in NEAR MINT-/EXCELLENT+ condition. I hesitate to grade any nearly 50-year-old LP in NEAR MINT- condition, but this LP has only a few scattered hairlines. Both Elektra labels show virtually no signs of play. For Doors fans, this LP is essential because it contains the rare and TRUE MONO mixes of some of their best songs. Forget about the RSD reissue -- this LP is the real deal.

COVER: The delicate paste-on cover is in EXCELLENT condition. The thick cardboard is still firm and the spine is fully readable and shows little wear. A light LP impression is present, and the lower corner at the opening edge has damage on both sides from an impression that was made into it (see photos below). Overall, the cover is still very presentable for a very rare LP.

INNER SLEEVE: The original inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition and has no seam splits. Small signs of wear and a few small tears are near the opening.

    with light signs of use/wear; VERY GOOD+ is an LP/cover with average signs of
    use/wear but is not trashed.
  • I use unforgiving sunlight and incandescent light to visually grade each LP.
  • I don’t make unverifiable claims as to how many plays a non-sealed LP has had.
