Description

DONOVAN - SUNSHINE SUPERMAN - Epic LN 24217, original 1966 US MONO pressing on the yellow Epic label with "NONBREAKABLE" under the catalog number. Matrices XEM 115111 (Side 1) and XEM 115112 (Side 2). Produced by Mickie Most, cover design by Dick Smith, liner notes by Donovan. IMPORTANT FOR COLLECTORS - the 1966 stereo issue of this album (BN 26217) was electronically rechanneled fake stereo on every track except "Season Of The Witch," which makes this original mono LN 24217 the true reference mix of the album. STILL IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK, but please note the shrink is OPENED AND SPLIT - this record is NOT sealed and the LP has been removed for inspection and photographing. VINYL GRADED VG+ - glossy with light surface scuffing and fine hairlines visible under raking light plus some scattered dust, no deep scratches and nothing that catches a fingernail; labels are clean and bright with no writing and clean spindle areas. Not play tested; a wet clean is recommended before spinning. JACKET GRADED VG+ - visible through the shrink are soiling and toning along the tan border, heaviest at the lower left and along the right edge, light edge and corner wear, and small marks at the upper left and upper right of the back cover. No seam splits, no writing, no tape. Cover art is bright and the Dick Smith psychedelic border artwork displays well. TRACKS - Side 1: Sunshine Superman / Legend Of A Girl Child Linda / Three King Fishers / Ferris Wheel / Bert's Blues. Side 2: Season Of The Witch / The Trip / Guinevere / The Fat Angel / Celeste. Ships free via USPS Media Mail, packed in a rigid record mailer with the LP outside the jacket to prevent seam stress. 1 business day handling.  Please review all photos as part of the description.
