Donovan Hurdy Gurdy Man/Teen Angel 45 Test Pressing / Acetate You are looking at an incredibly rare test pressing of Donovan's hit single Hurdy Gurdy Man with the B side Teen Angel. This Test pressing was discovered in a large collection of promotional records. It is my understanding that at times instead of sending promotional records to disc jockeys and radio stations they would send test pressings to save time, money or any number or reasons. This item is extremely rare and would be the crown jewel of any Donovan collection. This single is pressed on a thick 10" piece of vinyl with 2 holes in the label, one at 7" play mark and the other at the 12" play mark. The B side does not have a label. The test pressing comes in the original plain manilla 10" sleeve which has a 4" seam split at the bottom. The overall condition of the piece is conservatively graded at Good+ with some scuffs and light scratches throughout both sides as well as very slight warp in the outer dead wax which is visible in photo 6.
