Description

This is the original pressing of Donald Byrd “Byrd’s Eye View” on Transition J-4. Light, non-repetitive tics at the beginning of Side A and B and at the end of the first track on Side A; otherwise, the music is clear and bright, with no groove wear; both labels are intact. The laminated cover is bright and clean throughout; rubbing and small areas of flaking along the spine, but no splitting; ¼” wear to bottom seam, at the opening. No booklet. Personnel include Hank Mobley, Joe Gordon, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins, and Art Blakey.
