Description
Mint condition, OBI & insert included, all mint. Opened but played once.
An idiot bought this record, and one other, and when he got it he contacted me to tell me he wanted to return it because it "smelled" and was stinking up his whole house. When I balked, he left me two negative feedbacks for the two items he purchased, which you can view in my feedback. I would advise against selling on Ebay if you have other choices because when something like this happens, you'll get no help or sympathy from Ebay staff. You try to do the right thing, be a good seller, grade accurately, ship on time, and Ebay will still let an obviously bad customer with zero merit to his complaint kick you right in the teeth and then tell you to suck it up. Too bad. That's just the way it goes. Deal with it..
Anyway, the customer did return the record, in the brand new mint-condition shape it was in when I shipped it to him, and thankfully, and like I hoped and expected, there is no smell. I can only guess that he really does have a smell in his house and coincidentally only noticed it when he got my records, or he had buyer's remorse, or his wife nagged him about spending too much money, or he recorded the music and didn't want to pay for it. Whatever the reason, my records don't smell and he should have been able to figure that out and if he knew the record didn't smell then he only left negative feedback for needless spite, which in either case should be removed by Ebay (if Ebay was fair and had intelligent staff, which apparently they don't).
So, here it is for sale again with a story to go with it, and I got two negative feedbacks for my effort, and just beware, if you sell on Ebay, of selling to this idiot:monkandmuddyman ( Feedback Score Of 741) 100.0% George S Case
Of course, the way Ebay works, not allowing sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers, all buyers are going to have 100% perfect feedback unless they order things they don't pay for, which wasn't the case with this idiot (as explained above).
Bid on it if you want it, and if you win it, see for yourself that there is no smell, and maybe you can do me a favor and let Ebay know that their dispute resolution doesn't work well or they have staff who make bad decisions. I'll be shifting more of my sales elsewhere because of this and I hope more people do too so we can help eliminate and minimize monopoly businesses like Ebay.
