Incredibly rare and sought after original issue jazz LP by The Don Rendell & Ian Carr Quintet, "Shades Of Blue". On EMI/COLUMBIA Landsdowne Series. 33SX 1733. UK mono 1st Pressing 1U/1U matrix endings, on the Blue/Black Columbia Label
Personnel: Don Rendell, Ian Carr, Michael Garrick, Dave Green, Trevor Tomkin.
Side 1: Blue Mosque; Latin Blue; Just Blue; Sailin'
Side 2: Garrison '64; Blue Doom; Shades Of Blue; Big City Strut
In great condition:
Vinyl: Excellent. Vinyl is bright and shiny. Plays smoothly without surface noise, clicks or loss of sound quality.
Labels: Excellent condition. Some small wear around spindle.
Sleeve: Very Good. “Garrod and Lofthouse” Laminated Flip-back “Patents Pending” Sleeve. Minor creases in laminate on front. Slightly discoloured and small amount of surface wear on rear of cover, small name in pen top left just under flipback.
Inner Sleeve: Very Good. Complete Emitext Inner Sleeve with some discolouration.
