Don McLean American Pie LP 1971 Original Vinyl Album & Ultra Rare First Sleeve
This vintage classic from Don McLean was dedicated to Buddy Holly. It features the original United Artists Records inner sleeve with a free-verse poem written by McLean about William Boyd, also known as Hopalong Cassidy. This sleeve was removed within months of the album's release. The words to this poem appear on a plaque at the hospital where Boyd died. An all time classic LP that would make a wonderful addition to your collection. Thanks for looking.
