CONDITION EXTRA ### A True Classic!!! AMERICAN PIE has been referred to as a cultural touchstone, where Don McLean drew inspiration for the song from his childhood experience delivering newspapers during the time of the plane crash that killed early rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper. ### The Vinyl Record is described as Excellent in condition. There are a reasonable number of extremely fine hairlines, sleeve buffs & sleeve marks on each side of the record, none of which are feelable. Plays with average background. Handwritten numbers in pencil on Side 1 Label. The Cover is described as Excellent & is structurally sound with no seam splits. Slight creasing to top opening edge. Light ring wear & scuffs on the surfaces. A few fine cracks & wrinkles along spine/edges. Light general wear to the corners/edges. 5 tiny circular surface dents on the front cover. The Inner Sleeve is clean, intact with slight creasing & is in Excellent condition. Please see attached photos & message me Henry Butler with any queries.....
