London FFSS OSA 1401, BLUEBACK 4 record box set, pressed in U.K. Decca pressing marks in dead wax area, 1E or 1K.
Early stereo label ffss. Includes libretto.

CONDITION: records look excellent (very good plus plus) or better. Sides 1 & 8 with a few light surface scuffs or light wear, some few odd tics. Sides 2,3,4,5,6 & 7 all show glossy shiny black surfaces, nice sheen, no scratches very few marks. Records play well, occasional slight surface noise, few odd tics.
Cover looks close to near mint, sound box, slight wear.

This production is considered by many critics as one of the top productions of this opera over the last 50 years. Great sound. Very nice stereo separation, voices isolated in various spots across stage.

[I visually grade the record in good light. I play grade the record by spot checking several areas, especially areas that have marks. I listen using Grado SR325 headphone w/Grado headphone amp, on a Well Tempered Turntable & arm, mcz Grado cartridge. These are very revealing headphones allowing me to hear any surface noise, although from a close-in perspective. Your experience may differ depending on your system. I generally do not clean the record unless so noted. Most will improve with your preferred cleaning method.]
