Description

Don Covay & The Goodtimers– Mercy!

1964 UK Atlantic ATL5025

VG+/VG+

Very scarce original UK pressing on the plum/silver Atlantic label.  Easily Covay's rarest UK LP.

The sleeve is in nice condition, the laminated front is clean with no tears, no ink marks, no lamination creases.  The unlaminated rear is undamaged and unworn but has a few little dirty marks and it’s slightly yellowed with age.  Both top and bottom seams are totally unworn, as is the spine which has all of the writing clearly readable.

The record is also in nice shape.  It’s made of good thick vinyl which is very clean and has no visible surface marks, holding it under a very harsh lamp reveals a few little hairline marks but these are caused solely by taking the disc in and out of the sleeve and have no impact on it’s aural performance.  When played the sound is clear and clean with only the very occasional crackle between tracks.  A very nice copy of a scarce LP.
