Description
This is a rare original 1964 copy of the self-titled debut of Doc Watson (Vanguard VRS-9152 Mono). This is Mr. Watson's finest work, and one of the essential American folk albums.
Vinyl retains nice shine. There are many minor hairlines and light scratches from 50+ years of play. There are background crackles and 'ticks' but no loud pops and absolutely no skips. Overall, a decent listen with no major disturbances.

The cover has no major issues. Clean legible spine. No seam or spine splits. Small area of paper loss on top of the back cover. Some light pencil markings on the track listing (back cover). Light overall corner, edge, and ring wear.
