Description
Great jazz find! This is "Doc" Severinsen Concert, featuring Carl "Doc" Severinsen as Trumpet Soloist with the Center High School Band and the University of Kansas Brass Choir from January 16, 1966. Released by Audio House (AH 566). I've found from some on-line research that Audio House typically only pressed 100-200 copies each of these "Doc" concerts with various high school and college bands, so there aren't going to be many copies out there to be had. This disc is in great shape and rates an easy VG++, tending toward NM-. I don't see any real wear or signs of play, rather there are some light surface marks that I would guess have come from record going in and out of outer jacket. I didn't see any spindle marks. Really a very nice disc. Outer jacket is excellent with vibrant color on front and very little wear. Back of jacket is blank except for owner's hand written name in one corner. Owner also wrote description of disc on spine as well. Very nice overall and you would be hard pressed to find a better copy. A good value! Good luck to all bidders and enjoy!
