Description

This is Norgran Records MG N-2, The Dizzy Gillespie - Stan Getz Sextet, an original 10" yellow, deep groove, trumpet labeled mono issue of this rare record. This is volume 1 - I am also offering volume 2. The record is in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear. The record plays quietly throughout except for a brief time on track 2 side 1 and the beginning of the ballad on side 2, where there are light background clicks audible. Remarkable for a record this old. The wonderful photo cover shows slight edge wear and a name in pen on the back but is otherwise excellent and intact  The label on one side has the name as well but is otherwise excellent as well. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  A superb, collectors grade copy of this rare set.
