Disciple-Come And See Us As We Are! (1970 Australian 12” Vinyl LP Album housed in picture sleeve with the bottom spine taped – the vinyl is near mint - AVCO Embassy Australia SAVL-933980)
Disciple's sole album, Come and See Us as We Are, was released in 1970, but quickly dropped out of sight without causing any kind of commercial stir. An intriguing mix of sunshine pop, mild psychedelia and occasional garage band crunch, the album became somewhat of a lost treasure for record collectors, who claimed the band was like an east coast version of Jefferson Airplane (Disciple was based in New York), thanks in no small part to the presence of Sandy Crespo on lead vocals. There are some strong cuts, like the wry "Better Than You (Mental Song)" and a capable cover of Fontella Bass' "Rescue Me,"

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
