Description
Here is a rare collection of Discord 2-6 ep records, bought in 1981 at Yesterday & Today records whose owner Skip Groff produced almost all of these 45's. Happy to pass these rare gems to a lucky collector.
I am their original owner and know almost everybody who played on these iconic hardcore punk rock records. All the inserts are included and are original, including an "Out of Step" sticker— however the G.I. ep does not have an insert and the sleeve is in fair condition but the record in in VG+.
All the records are very conservatively rated. I took great care of these records and recently sold a Minor Threat test pressing. All of them have the etchings and phrases that are specific to each one. A real rare opportunity. Remember: they are in excellent shape but I did play them. I will not sell any separately, nor will I accept refunds.
Here are details for each EP included in the set:
SOA "No Policy" EP: First pressing, etched, green vinyl, original insert, released in 1981. Vinyl, sleeve and insert in VG+ condition.
Minor Threat EP: Third pressing, etched, green sleeve, silver label, released in 1981. Vinyl and sleeve in VG+ condition.
Government Issue "Legless Bull" EP: First pressing, etched, released in 1981. Vinyl in VG+ condition, sleeve in fair condition (some wear, but still intact).
Minor Threat "In My Eyes" EP: First pressing, etched, red vinyl, yellow label, original insert, original "Out of Step" sticker, xerox cover. Back sleeve says "cousin." Released in 1981. Vinyl, sleeve and insert in VG+ condition.
Youth Brigade "Possible" EP: First pressing, original printed lyric sheet cut to tombstone shape, released in 1981. Vinyl and lyric sheet in VG+ condition, sleeve in good condition (some wear and fading).
