So, what, you weren't able to make it to Australia for The Dirtbombs' tour there so that you could acquire this killer new piece of wax? Or you got there and realized you only had $.58 to your name after buying your show ticket? Either way, that's some tough luck, but let me help you atone for this error in calculation.
Up for your bidding consideration, a brand-spankin' new copy of The Dirtbombs' "Need You Tonight b/w Devil Inside" single, pressed in an extremely limited quantity (on Stained Circles records, in sexy black vinyl) specifically for the band's trip to Oz mere weeks ago. Unless you happened to be over there or were lucky enough to catch the first couple shows back on U.S. soil, then you're not getting your hands on this one unless you do it the old-fashioned way - by winning my auction on eBay. I caught the band last night in Bloomington, IN, and luckily enough for myself, they had a few copies remaining, of which I purchased two - one to keep, and one to pass along to a dedicated Dirtbombs collector nerd that would otherwise be sweating profusely and trembling with fear that they may never have a chance to get this obvious cornerstone of their Dirtbombs vinyl collection. Seriously, is there someone out there that *wouldn't* want to hear the Dirtbombs covering two INXS songs? Pretty crucial, indeed. And thankfully, most of the Bloomington set seemed content to stick with eating granola, wearing long beards and highwater pants, and dancing awkwardly than ransacking the merch table to ruin my opportunity to help you, the much needier Dirtbombs fan, out with your collection. Rad, certainly. So here it is. I'll start the bidding for what I paid for this copy - $10. I'm hopeful that you all want it badly enough to bid high, bid often, and bid aggressively, because frankly, I could use the money. My sob-story is such: I'm in the process of buying a house, and while chips are tight, seeing The Dirtbombs was important to our mental health. Now, I'm hoping to bank a little bit of my spent duckets back again, pay back a couple small debts, ya know...the usual. Waa waa waa wah.
OK, the rules. No bidders with excessive negative feedback. No 0 feedback bidders without e-mailing me first to let me know you are serious and will follow through with payment. Said payment will be through Paypal, money order, or cashier's check. I'd prefer to ship to the U.S. and/or Canada, but will open this up to worldwide bidders. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail, and I will package well to be sure the record makes it to you in wonderful, brand new, mint condition. Your hard-earned cash should be rewarded with these crucial jams in the condition I acquired and sent it to you, and in my experiences, Priority Mail will do that. May cost a little more than First Class, but it will get there faster and there will be no problems. A flat fee of $5 for the U.S., $12 for worldwide. Insurance optional/extra. Good luck.
