Description: This is scarce Japan PROMO ONLY album ( released in 1979 ? ) of Dire Straits. This is extremely rare album, issued as special DJ copy only in Japan for the promotion of newly released album “communique”. This album is titled as “communique from Bahamas” on Side A and “straits power” on Side B ( See labels of disc and the track-list on the front-cover ). The label of disc is beautiful in white for promotional use. The back-cover shows “Japanese description” with “photos of members”. OBI & INSERT were not originally issued for this album, because it was made only for promotional use. This album includes 10 tracks ( see the track-list below ). It’s very hard to find this album even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G+/VG ( Cover / Disc )

COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners, top & lightly other outer-edges. It’s stained with brown spots along the top & spine-rims of front & back ( mainly back side ). There’s ring-wear in upper & lower portions of each side. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing…OK.  

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuff marks ( including slight hairlines ) with several slight scratches on each side. There’re a few to several spindle-marks on the label of Side B ( but none on that of Side A ). Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG”.
