DIRE STRAITS Alchemy Live -1984 UK 10-track double LP, recorded live at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on the ‘Love Over Gold’ tour over two nights in July 93. Featuring versions of Sultans Of Swing, Romeo & Juliet, Tunnel Of Love & a superb rendition of Going Home the theme from Local Hero or ‘what Newcastle United run out onto the pitch to’ (depending on your preference).

Presented in a beautiful gatefold picture sleeve, this is an incredible set and captures the band straining pure emotion into every single note. The ‘Straits’ went on to become the biggest band in the world, be the first band to sell 1 million CDs with Brothers in Arms and spend over 1,100 weeks on the UK albums chart, ranking fifth of all-time for total sales.
