Description
Welcome to my vinyl record auction for:
Dimmu Borgir for all tid 1994 1st press Limited Edition LP.
Catalogue number: NC 003
Label: No Colours
Year: 1989
Pressing: Original, 1st Press
Additional Info: This is a genuine super rare original pressing. This copy is number 784 of 1000. Not to be confused with any of the much less valuable represses or bootlegs
Be extra careful not to get caught out by the recent bootleg fakes which has an almost identical label and cover. Nearly all of the copies of this listed on ebay are recent rip offs often claiming to be the real thing! Genuine copies come up for sale very rarely.
Guide to avoid being ripped off:
1) Cover in general on the bootleg is darker
2) Look at the LP title. On the real thing there is a gap of around a centimetre or so below the title to the bottom of the cover (rip offs have the title tight against the bottom seam
3) Look carefully at the right hand edge. The image on the fakes are cut off so they missing the edge of the picture. For example, the small building about half way up, the side of the building can only be seen on the real thing and is cut off on the fakes
4) Look at the numbering on the back of the cover. Originals are numbered in thick black marker in line with the '/1000' Fakes are in thin biro and often not in line with the '/1000'
Condition (1-5)
Vinyl – 4.50 Great condition. Retains a lovely dark shine – obviously not had a lot of use. Just the odd ultra light mark / paper scuff from sleeve removal.
Cover – 4.25. A very light crease to one corner (on back only). A couple of the usual tiny light creases around the edges. Tiny bit of light rubbing to the very tips of a couple of corners. I have been critical due to value – this is a very nice crisp example with no damage, splits, tears, writing or ringware. Fully readable spine.
*See super detailed photos at bottom of page to judge cover condition for yourself*

Grading:
I will be grading critically to avoid disappointment. (see grading scale below) In my experience there is no such thing as a used record that has no marking at all, if you choose to look closely enough! Hence nothing will be described as mint.

Grading Scale:
Vinyl
5 = Absolute minimal amount of ultra light, totally superficial surface hairlines / marks that are only visible when tilted under strong light. Expect no impact on audio. 4 = Light surface marks / scratches. Some more visible but all still superficial. May include 1 small slightly heavier mark affecting a single track only. Still expect no or minimal impact on audio. 3 = Some heavier marks / scratches. Expect them to be audible and slightly detract from the overall listening experience. 2 = Heavy scratches / marks. Expect to hear pronounced and distracting clicks or cracks on at least couple of tracks. 1 = Several heavy scratched / marks / other damage. Expect several tracks to be affected and a couple to the extent that they may be considered unlistenable. However should still play through.
Covers
5 = Hardly any wear of any description. Maybe slightest of wear to very tip of a corner or a couple of ultra light tiny edge creases which you would have to look very closely to see. 4 = Some general light wear and maybe a small area of moderate wear. Inner covers
5 = Hardly any wear of any description. Maybe a couple of small spots of very light discolouration or a super light and small crease. 4 = Discolouration, general light wear, light creasing. 3 = Moderate general wear plus 1 piece of damage such a seam split or heavily folded corner. 2 = Heavy general wear plus one or two pieces of damage. 1 = Several major issues – very tatty.
