Up for auction is a perfect German pressing of the ‘classic’ vinyl LP by The Beatles titled Die Beatles- - (..this translates in English- The Beatles )- Please Please Me on the Hör Zu label- SHZE 117.
This is a Stereo record. An original 1964 release with 14 songs.
This was the Beatles ‘outstanding’ 1st album release (..please see photos for track listing)
This is an open Flawless copy!
The vinyl is visually PERFECT! No scratches.
This play graded out as: a 10 out of 10!….
A superior pressing here, NO noise! No pops, ticks or clicks..
This is a great sounding copy! An outstanding pressing. One of the absolute BEST I have ever play graded.
This is regarded by many audiophiles worldwide as the ultimate stereo source for this album, this incredible sounding 'uncompressed' mix was cut in Germany in the early '70's without the secondary EQ added to the UK cut.
This is my own personal copy that I purchased Brand New in the 1970’s from a record store that imported these .
I have been a collector of many audiophile pressing- Mobile Fidelity, DCC, Mercury.
This is on par with the highly regarded MFSL remastered versions.
The laminated cover is in Near Mint condition-(..a bit of scuffing to the gloss cover in a few spots ).
There is no writing, spine paper cracks etc. on it )
This cover has what’s known as the ‘ New Horzu’ design (…that refers to the symbol on the front cover in the upper L.H. corner)
The record is inside the original white paper poly lined inner sleeve it came in.
This has the RED label. The label is in near MINT shape with just a few very slight marks from manufacturing!
..Side one has no spindle marks, Side two has 1.
MATRIX Numbers on the inner rim are.
side one: SHZE 117- A-2 side two: SHZE 117- B-2
This has been stored upright in a protective resealable mylar sleeve (…which I’ll include)
Overall, I’d grade this as MINT! This is an outstanding copy here…
It has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, both before & after play grading.
This was played maybe 2-3 times over the years & then only on top equipment. I purchased this as a collectible item, not a play copy!
This is a rare, ‘collectible’ & out- of- print album that doesn't show up often here on Ebay.
You will not find a better copy of this one out there at any price!
This very collectible item has been stored safely away, upright with my other albums in a clean, dry, constant temperature, smoke-free home.
