If you are of a "certain age" you will remember waiting each week to hear the music news from Dick Clark on his National Music Survey show! This was a syndicated show that ran on all the best stations in America. Radio stations received a set of LP records and literature and instructions which contained the entire show which ran for at least 3 hours each weekend. This listing is for two different, but important weekends in the 1980's. The first show included in this listing ran on Dec. 26, 1981, and the second ran the next weekend, Jan 2, 1982. Each box contains 3 - hour long records and all the paperwork necessary for a DJ to run the show for that week. I've shown photos of some of the playlists and you can see the amazing songs included in these shows. This is true radio and music memorabilia and since these were only available to radio stations, there are a very limited number of them still available! If you remember the music of the early 80's you will enjoy hearing Dick Clark's commentary on a time that has now become history. I no longer have a turntable, but these were playing great when I checked them. Aside from the original broadcast and my test, these disks have never been played!
