Description
This record auction includes everything shown in the photos. We are record dealers and recently acquired this little gem in a collection buy. We do not know backstory nor can we authenticate the signature. Either way, the press kit alone is a great find for a Diana Ross fan.
About the record: The vinyl itself is damaged. The A side is covered in scratches that cause skips throughout. The B side, however, is a VG+. Go figure. The sleeve is a modest VG. The front cover and inside gatefold faces are clean and glossy with little to no ware. The back cover has some ring ware and a few scratches. The spine and top/bottom seams have some light ware. The inner sleeve is clean with some light creasing and small splits at each seam.
About the press kit: The press kit is housed in a single-pocket folder that opens up mimicking the album cover. In the folder you will find a PROMO 45rpm 7" record containing the track "Work That Body" on both sides. The 7" is VG+/VG+. There is a 4 page bio dated 10/81 on the last page with a RCA Records, Public Affairs page header. Lastly, the kit contains three (3) glossy 8x10 photos, all of which are about a VG or so. One is creased down the center; one is a strong VG+; the third has a signature.
With little to no info easily found on the web, we decided to start at $0.99. You decided what it's worth!
This record will ship USPS Priority Mail. (Because of the press kit it is not eligible for Media Mail service). It will be packed in a LP mailer secured with padding. If you wish to upgrade shipping or would like to add additional services, such as insurance, please do so before completing payment.
