Description

Diamond Head are an English Heavy Metal / Rock band originally formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, West Midlands. The band was part of a 'new wave' of British heavy metal bands in the 1980's and have been seen as an early influence to thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeath. This was their first MCA records album and features a Rodney-Matthews illustrated artwork gatefold sleeve which was one of the most expensive sleeves commisioned by MCA at the time.

Condition. This Lp was only played a couple of times on purchase in 1982 and has not been played since that time. It has been stored in a dry cupboard since then. i have tried to grade the record / sleeve as best as i can and grade the record overall as VG+ (very good plus) possibly borderline Excellent. The vinyl record is Vg+ with no scratches or damage to the disc. There are one or two light scuff marks / fingerprints and there is a light line running accross track 1 'Borrowed Time' but this does not look like a scratch indeed i have played this track and there are no issues. The internal black sleeve is graded as VG+ (very good plus) it is completely intact and has one or two fingerprints / marks but otherwise minimal wear for the age. I have also graded the outer gatefold sleeve as VG+ 9very good plus) with intact spine, minimal age wear such as one or two small creases but only minor wear mostly to the outer corners and this is not a lot. Please see the attached pictures which try to convey the overall condition of the record.
