UK import record / LP / vinyl of: Diamanda Galas - The Singer, 1992, on Mute (STUMM 103).  Includes the original lyric inner sleeve on thick board paper, and the original insert.  I purchased this brand new, and played it only once, committing it to the preservation means of the time so that I wouldn't need to play it again.  Around the time the album came out, Diamanda was scheduled to do a Red Death performance at the Palace Of Fine Arts, the one where she's naked and drenched in blood.  My friend and I bought tickets.  When we arrived, the lights were bright, and remained so for the whole show.  There was a grand piano on stage, and nothing else.  Diamanda came out and played a set of piano blues, quite fully dressed.  As I was sitting there wondering why the performance was changed, both musically and otherwise, I looked around, and noticed two people sitting about ten seats away from us, one row ahead, and a few seats over, in the front, that stood out.  They both appeared very tall, and were extremely well-dressed, as if attending an opera; and also notably older than anyone else in the audience.  I put two and two together.  It seemed pretty clear to me that the couple in question were her parents, and she wasn't going to perform in the nude in front of them.  Ah well.  ... You'll note the tickets are numbered a seat apart.  The show was so close to sold out, that we couldn't quite get seats next to each other.  When we got there, there were two other people who also had to buy tickets one seat separated; so we switched our respective intervening seats with them, and everyone was happy.  
Condition: Vinyl: has one sleeve scuff on track 1, side A, otherwise flawless; and lies flat.  Cover: three creases, as shown in photos 5-7.  The first is in the lower front left corner. Second shown is on the other side of that, the lower right of the rear.  Third is in the upper right corner of the rear.  There are also three very short creases along the spine, which may be seen by expanding the cover images.  On the lower front cover, there's a two or three inch arc of ringwear.  Lyric inner: close to being as new.  Insert: some creases from handling, mostly near the sides and at the bottom.  (Please expand the photos to get a better close-up). 

This album will be carefully packed with the record outside of the sleeve, and both inside a plastic outer.  The record will also be separate from the original inner lyric sheet to preserve the edges of the inner sleeve.  There will be a solid sheet of cardboard on either side of everything, which, together with the LP mailer will make a double layer of protection through the mail.  I will take it to the post office within two business days of receipt of payment.
