Description

This is a no reserve auction for the following LP vinyl record:

Artist:  Dexter Gordon

Title:  "GO"

Year: 1962

Cat #  Blue Note 4112

Vinyl Condition:  NM

Cover Condition: NM

Comments: This LP is amazing!!!! You will not find another copy like this anywhere on Ebay!!!  The vinyl shines and looks like it was pressed yesterday. There is absolutely no surface noise!!  The labels are pristine and "Van Gelder" is stamped in the dead wax. The cover is equally beautiful!! very glossy, looks as if it were printed yesterday. The only thing that I can find wrong with this entire package are two rub marks on the back cover. One is on the "ER" on Dexter's name on the top, the other on a photo of the "Doin Alright" lp which is advertised on the back. The record is housed in original Blue Note sleeve. This copy belongs in a museum, with the caption "this is how you should take care of a record" Enough said!!  any questions feel free to ask.

All records are shipped in heavy corrugated record mailers.

My shipping price is for the Con. US. only, all other destinations will be a flat rate of $15.

I will be listing more vintage Jazz records in the next few weeks from such labels as Prestige, Verve, Blue Note among others...so keep watching.

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****

I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) -  Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attatched, or small seam splits.

G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.

P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.

In my listing I forgot to mention that there is an "EAR" mark in the dead wax on side one. Also, Blue Note did not have the 43 West 61st address on the label for this LP, but it is printed on the back of the cover at the bottom.
