Description
This is an In Person signed 5.5" x 4" autograph album page by the late Jamaican ska and reggae singer and songwriter. It has been signed in person on the reverse by the late American R & B singer who was a one hit wonder with 'Barefootin' in 1966. He has personalised it 'To Mike' a personal friend of mine who sadly passed away recently.
Desmond Dekker (16 July 1941 – 25 May 2006) was a Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae singer-songwriter and musician. Together with his backing group the Aces (consisting of Wilson James and Easton Barrington Howard), he had one of the earliest international reggae hits with "Israelites" (1968). Other hits include "007 (Shanty Town)" (1967), "It Mek" (1969) and "You Can Get It If You Really Want" (1970).
Robert Parker (October 14, 1930 – January 19, 2020) was an American R&B singer. His sole hit was "Barefootin'" (1966), and he is considered a one-hit wonder.
