2 Derrick Morgan 45s of his classic song "Fat Man" in its Ska and Rock Steady incarnations.
45 no.1: Blue Beat 45/BB7 - "Fat Man" / I'm Gonna Leave You from 1960. Labels in good order but with some signs of wear. Vinyl looks excellent, and plays with some crackles on both sides which have some presence but which do not interrupt play or interfere with the music, which shines through loud and proud. All time classic a-side with an "Oh Carolina" type vibe, b-side a stonking r'n'b JA stormer.
45 no.2: Trojan TR 626 from 1968, "Fat Man" / Val Bennett "South Parkway Rock". Labels and vinyl in beautiful, near mint condition. This version is on the rhythm that's famous as Andy Capp's "Pop-A-Top", b-side is a fabloulous, heavyweight horns cut that's as heavy a piece of Rock Steady magic as you'll hear anywhere.
