Derrick Harriott – ‘Mama Didn’t Lie’ / ‘Together’ – Island WI 245 (UK)
Lovely copy of this rare 1965 disc featuring Derrick Harriott’s soulful ballad ‘Together’ backed with an almost note-for-note take on Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Mama Didn’t Lie’ (originally recorded by Jan Bradley in 1963). Originally on Crystal in Jamaica, this is the UK release on the collectable Island label.
Condition: VG+ or thereabouts; a lovely copy with only faint surface marks causing a couple of fairly unobtrusive clicks (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.
