Description

Derek and the Dominoes - Layla - ACETATE - incredibly Rare Clapton Cream. Condition is "used” Incredibly rare Eric Clapton Artefact of his most famous song. This is a real one-off and probably your only chance to own this amazing item. I wish I could say it was mint but it is only in fair condition. I have played it but lots of crackle and surface noise but don’t forget acetates were never made to be played. The B-side does have a song on it but definitely not Clapton, sounds like a hymn. It has no real feelable scratches but it does have some hairlines and a kind of water mark residue, I suspect it’s not been caused by water but perhaps the acetate starting to degrade.

I’m getting a few questions about the condition, it does have light scratches and a kinda white residue in parts which could just be dirt but it doesn’t appear to come off but then again I haven’t tried very hard. It’s like I said the condition is not mint, excellent or very good but just fair. It’s the exclusivity of the item that makes it such a rarity despite the condition, probably only one in existence.
