This is a listing for the self-titled album “Deltron 3030” on vinyl.
This is the original US pressing of the album and not one of the later reissues. This classic underground hip-hop release featuring production by Dan the Automator and Kid Koala is widely regarded as one of the most iconic concept albums in hip-hop. This copy includes the original shrink wrap with the hype sticker still intact, which is a nice bonus for any Hip-hop collectors.
This record is a used “DJ copy” and it’s condition shows that but it is overall still in good shape. The sleeve shows light wear with some minor fraying along the opening edge where the vinyl is inserted, but otherwise presents well with no major flaws (VG). The vinyl itself is in good condition with just a few light surface marks and being a little dusty overall, though it still has DJ stickers on the center labels and wear around the spindle (VG-). Of course, none of the light marks affect playback, though it would benefit from a good clean.
(I do my best in grading these records carefully according to the Goldmine standard, but do please review the photos for a clear picture of the cosmetic condition.)
Original pressings of this album typically sell for more in cleaner condition, but I’m pricing this one fairly to account for the DJ use and cosmetic wear. This is still a great option for someone who wants an authentic original pressing to listen to or DJ with, without paying premium collector prices for a near mint copy.
