Delius Cello Concerto Jacqueline Du Pre UK HMV ASD 644

 

 

Jaqueline du Pre with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent performs the beautiful “Cello Concerto”, and the orchestra and Royal Choral Society, “Songs of Farewell, and “A Song before Sunrise” by Delius. An English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 644), the labels are red with white His Masters Voice, made in Great Britain at 6 o’clock, and a large fan shaped dog logo. The record is of excellent  appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover is near mint.
