Description
Girl Test Pressing. Due to a listing error ( I meant to end another listing but ended this one accidentally) I've had to relist this. This is a test press of "Wasted Youth" by Girl from 1981. Girl was one of Phill Collen's first bands before Joining Def Leppard in 1982. Girl also featured Phil Lewis, who would later go on to front U.S glam metal band, L.A. Guns. The vinyl is in stunning condition and looks as though it's never been played, no spindle marks, new vinyl sheen, etc. The jacket is plain white card. On the front, is a piece of Jet Records headed paper with release and promotion details such as the formats, tour details and upcoming promotion pieces in musical publications such as sounds, Smash Hits, music week, melody maker, record business, and record mirror. On the reverse is another sheet of paper with the track listing. Both sheets are kept in place with the original, very old and brown sellotape. At the bottom of the front piece of paper, Sharon Arden is mentioned as Director. Sharon Arden is the daughter of Don Arden, the founder of Jet Records. She would go on to become Sharon Osbourne. This is an outstanding piece of musical history and an absolute must for any collector of Rock Memorabilia. It is also the best example of a test press that I've ever seen. Thanks for looking. Any questions, please don't hesitate.
