Deep Purple-"Live at The L.A. Forum 1968" 2017 Euopean fan club LP Dead Man Records DM 1006: There certainly isn't much live material out there documenting the short-lived MK. 1 era of Deep Purple, featuring Nick Simper, and Rod Evans on lead vocals. This cool fan club release captures a set recorded while supporting Cream at the LA Forum on the Book of Taliesyn tour on October 19th, 1968. Beautiful glossy gatefold cover with period correct pictures, and a decent sounding recording from an era that has no other live representation as far as I know. Nearly new condition on both the vinyl and jacket VG++/VG++
