Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner, never played and came directly from the pressing plant/record company warehouse unless otherwise noted.
Album is shipped in a 2 MIL poly sleeve.
- This was the band's fastest selling record in the US. It went Gold in three months. Purple was the best selling act in the US in 1973 aided by the ongoing sales of the two previous albums "Machine Head" and "Made in Japan".
- The group was in disarray with personal and management problems. Then Gillan and Glover left.
- In the Seller's opinion this stopped the recording and touring roll they were on that could have propelled them to the No. 1 band in the world. But, that's Rock n Roll.
- This White Label Promo is in a Gate Fold cover.
- This is a First Pressing.
- The matrix ends in 1B & 1B.
- Cover has tight seams and stiff spine with no sign of wear.
- Insert has lyrics on one side.
- Inner sleeve is WB Loss Leaders.
- Seller got this new, hot off the press, prior to the commercial release in 1973. It has been in storage since then.
Who Do We Think We Are is the seventh studio album by Deep Purple, released in 1973. It was Deep Purple's last album with singer Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover until Perfect Strangers came out in 1984.
