Shades of Deep Purple LP 1968
Original and rare Parlophone UK release - PCS 7055 Stereo
Parlophone yellow and black label, 689-1 & 690-1 matrix numbers (first press)
Condition
Vinyl: Near Mint condition. Has been played through and no pops or jumps. Appears to have only been played very lightly. Label is clean with only very light spindle marks. Incredible condition for a record of this age.
Cover: Flip back, laminated. Discrete band of cellotape running around the opening edge for no obvious reason. Glue is good. Slight fading to right-hand side of rear cover. Generally good with only the cellotape detracting. Small initials on rear (very discrete).
Overall a very good condition LP. The vinyl is excellent and sounds amazing. The cover is slightly compromised by the cellotape but is otherwise very good. A very listenable and rare LP.
