Description

Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as EX+ on the A-side and EX on the B-side (I range EX from 83-93) with the A-side overall a 91, less A1 that was more like an 86 relative to the degree of surface noise at the very start of the track. On the B-side B1 and B3 played as an 86 and B2 and B4 were 89's again this was all in relation to the degree of surface noise.  There is a Sound Guard sticker on the A-side label and according to my research this was a protection that would be applied to the surface of the vinyl.  Visually there are a couple of very minor marks with more noticeable marks within the in grooves and truthfully it looks NM- nearly however coupled with the play is scored as EX.
The sleeve is scored as EX, more within the EX- range but 100% better than VG+. It is super glossy and every defect jumps out.  The most noticeable issue is a crease running down within the top right corner at 23mm. The corners all show very light wear with a crease impression on the top left corner running 8mm. There is very light wear along the opening seam. The OBI shows light wear however cannot be moved in to measure a pair of creases I can see running in from the spine (they are very faint). On the top seam there is what looks like the start of a separation (it would be at the 5% stage and I don't think that's really what it is) running 26mm resulting in uneven color breaks and it's almost not there. The inserts show light wear, more noticeably the glossed one where you can see every wrinkle along with a light crease within the top right. Based on all of this I am scoring the sleeve an 83 (although straight on at the right angle it looks more like NM- anyway).
