Deep Purple - Machine Head

(Purple Records Q4TPSA 7504 UK LP 1972)

This is a UK original Quadraphonic LP pressing. It has a heavyweight front laminated gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined EMI "Quadraphonic" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. The "Purple" labels have "The Gramophone Co.." text around the upper perimeter.They also have the "Quadraphonic SQ" logo on them. There is no lyric insert. 


Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a small crease in one corner tip area. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the front sleeve opening edge. VG++ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a couple of light hairline marks. These measure 3 cm & 5 cm in length. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show moderate spindle wear. Otherwise, they are very nice & clean. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ overall & even Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops.
