DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple LP- Machine Head. First UK pressing with heavyweight vinyl weighing in at 149GM, Gramophone text on rim and matrices ending A1U/B1U. Gatefold sleeve laminated front and back.. Correct white inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Purple TPSA 7504 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen. Played lengthy passages of this today on my Pro-ject Deck. It has a ridge in the vinyl which maks it look like it has a slight warp. It has no effect whatsoever on playback. This is one of the best sounding copies I have had. Sounds Excellent or better. Music is clear and loud. Cover is firm and square and has only light edgewear, cornerwear and a little more than light creasing. Its arounfd VG+ but ive graded conservatively. Inside of gatefold is very, very clean with sharp, clear photos. Correct white inner has no splits but poly has become detached. Glossy insert is only VG as quite creased and has a tear to one fold.. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice all round copy of a classic DP LP. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES (INCLUDING SIGNIFICANT INNERS) PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
