Description

An original 1st press of RPO on UK Harvest from early 1970. Matrix 1/1 - 1st cut. But even better this example does not have EMI logos  - meaning it is very 1st press. And then..one better...it's the 1G/1G stamper - inferring a copy from the 1st EVER stamper employed by EMI. Lovely heavy-set pressing. Comes housed in original 1st issue WIDESPINE gatefold. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Some amazing Paicey drumming on this LP.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - one does sound a bit early side 2. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback [but not exclusively.. a couple of deviations]. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Some fantastic audio on this copy. Nice clean intros and inbetweens - much better than what typically surfaces. The only real issue is 8-9 ticks early on side 2. Not that invasive - but audible all the same. Providing you can live with that one issue the rest of the Lp plays superb. Even the super fussy lowkey intro to side 1 is playing much cleaner than you typically find. A couple of minor ticks early on side 1. And you've bagged the 1G - which is a historic copy by any standard. A very interesting title from PURPLE'S massive arsenal - and just make sure you get an early clean copy. 
Cover (Vg+) Nice clean surfaces without much sign of wear or creasing really nice looking. Some creasing found on the rear. Slight edge wear in places. The interior is looking tidy. Spine is looking good with just a couple of stress creases - well preserved [95% intact]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Bag present.
